Jakob is the Managing Director and founder of C2A Consulting Pty Ltd. With 11 years of Defence experience as a Capability Technology Manager, he made significant contributions to Navy’s ability to fight and win in the maritime environment. Passionate about leadership and project management, Jakob has a broad range of skillsets in contract management, project management, engineering, maintenance, logistics, and systems engineering, enabling him to lead multi-disciplinary teams and communicate strategic issues to Executive Management and the Australian Defence Force Senior Leadership Group.

Hannah is a dedicated and passionate educator, currently teaching secondary school Mathematics at Melba Copland Secondary School. As an ANU graduate (with Honors) in Bachelor of Science, and a Masters of Teaching, Hannah has spent the last decade teaching in a variety of roles across Australia, including a period as Governess in remote QLD where she taught adults at a tertiary level. In addition to her teaching career, and busy life as a working Mum, Hannah established the foundations for C2A Consulting’s directorship, and has strategically led the staff of C2A to develop and reach their career goals. Hannah’s role as C2A Director and Engagement Manager has seen her institute a rapidly growing Defence Industry network, lead an Operations Support team, and become the cornerstone in maintaining C2A employee wellbeing.

Tayla is a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional who excels in her role as Operations Support Manager for the C2A team. With a strong dedication to learning and growth, she readily takes on additional responsibilities to deepen her understanding of the company. Tayla’s extensive management experience is utilised in recruitment, training, client relationship management and executive support. She ensures exceptional customer service and compliance with work, health and safety standards within the company. Tayla’s accomplishments include low staff turnover, successful sales targets and implementing efficient data management systems. With her leadership skills and commitment to excellence, Tayla consistently delivers exceptional results.
Tayla is a passionate animal lover who finds joy in spending her weekends indulging in video games and spending quality time with her beloved dog, Banjo. Her love for exploration has taken her to various corners of the globe, with Canada, Japan, and South Africa holding special places in her heart as her favourite destinations. She has experienced thrilling adventures like white water rafting in Africa and paragliding in Switzerland. Her biggest inspiration in life is her mother, whom Tayla aspires to emulate. Upon completing her studies, she hopes of becoming a project manager. At C2A Consulting, Tayla finds great value in the flexibility offered, allowing her to work at her own pace. She takes pride in accomplishing tasks that streamline operations for her team, and the satisfaction of checking off items from her to-do lists drives her to achieve her daily goals.

Kathy is a highly skilled and qualified professional with expertise in accounting and financial management. With an Advanced Diploma in Business Accounting, she has a strong background in managing commercial business entities, handling payroll, debtors, creditors and inventory. She spent 10 years specialising in taxation for individuals and retirees, focusing on capital gains, investment properties and shares. Kathy also has 15 years of experience running her own retail business, which is exceptionally valuable to the team at C2A.
Kathy, a vibrant member of the C2A Consulting team, embraces a lively lifestyle filled with work, family visits and adventurous rock-climbing expeditions. Her guilty pleasure includes binge-watching reality TV shows, while her hidden talent lies in airbrushing. Kathy finds inspiration in her children, and her favourite way to celebrate a job well done is enjoying a drink with loved ones. She values to C2A for its development opportunities and appreciates the balance between work and life with flexible hours and locations. Kathy thrives on the excitement of learning new things and believes in the core values of teamwork and collaboration at C2A. Her motivation stems from the sense of achievement she derives from her professional accomplishments.

Ethan is a motivated and versatile Full Stack Developer with a strong foundation in software engineering. Studying a Bachelor of Software Engineering from the Australian National University, Ethan possesses a comprehensive understanding of the development process. His experience includes successfully implementing new APIs for web applications at IO Energy in Adelaide, and teaching university students engineering practices at the Australian National University. As the C2A IT Specialist, Ethan manages Microsoft SharePoint, develops and maintains the company’s website and provides technical support to employees.
Ethan has a passion for animation. When he’s not working on university assignments, he enjoys watching movies, playing board games and developing apps. He finds inspiration from YouTube tutorial creators. Ethan’s goal is to graduate with a Bachelor of Software Engineering and his motivation comes from working with a supportive and collaborative team. At C2A Consulting, he appreciates the opportunity to build his knowledge in systems engineering, supported by an amazing work-life balance provided by remote work.

Dave is an experienced, professional engineer, with specialist expertise in systems engineering. He has built a broad base of experience with over a decade in the civil aviation, Defence and commercial engineering domains. Dave holds post graduate degrees in Engineering (Telecommunications) and Business (Engineering Management) and is a charted professional engineer (CPENG). He is also an INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP).
As a highly specialised systems engineer, Dave has worked both above and below the line across various phases of the capability and product development lifecycle, making him well-equipped to bring his professional capabilities and strong work ethic to the Australian Defence Force. His areas of interests are Tactical Data links, satellite communications and cyber security. Dave is multilingual and enjoys travelling overseas to experience different cultures and cuisines. In his spare time, he is either progressing his personal projects or catching up with family and friends.
