Jakob is the Director of C2A Consulting Pty Ltd and Project Manager for JP9101. With 11 years of Defence experience as a Capability Technology Manager, he made significant contributions to Navy’s ability to fight and win in the maritime environment. Passionate about leadership and project management, Jakob has a broad range of skillsets in contract management, project management, engineering, maintenance, logistics, and systems engineering, enabling him to lead multi-disciplinary teams and communicate strategic issues to Executive Management and the Australian Defence Force Senior Leadership Group.

Hannah is a dedicated and passionate educator, currently teaching secondary school Mathematics at Melba Copland Secondary School. As an ANU graduate (with Honors) in Bachelor of Science, and a Masters of Teaching, Hannah has spent the last decade teaching in a variety of roles across Australia, including a period as Governess in remote QLD where she taught adults at a tertiary level. In addition to her teaching career, and busy life as a working Mum, Hannah established the foundations for C2A Consulting’s directorship, and has strategically led the staff of C2A to develop and reach their career goals. Hannah’s role as C2A Director and Engagement Manager has seen her institute a rapidly growing Defence Industry network, lead an Operations Support team, and become the cornerstone in maintaining C2A employee wellbeing.
Hannah is a busy and adventurous person who enjoys spending her weekends mountain biking or skiing with friends, working behind the scenes for C2A, or gardening with her kids running around. Her favorite place she’s traveled to is Joshua Tree, where her husband Jakob proposed to her. Hannah has a passion for taking young people, especially women, on outdoor adventures. She admits that it’s all pretty adventurously sketchy when you’re married to Jakob. In her free time, she’s trying to learn Italian. While she doesn’t have any hidden talents, she admits that she’s really bad at finishing gardening tasks. Her most significant professional accomplishment was finishing her masters in teaching while her newborn lay on the floor of the coffee shop. In the future, she’s still trying to decide what she wants to do when she grows up. What motivates Hannah at work is people – she loves learning about what makes them tick and what skills and experiences they want to share with others.

Carly is a qualified accountant with strong experience in cost modelling, financial analysis, and commercial management in Federal Government and the private sector. She is the primary Financial Management lecturer in the Master in Capability Management through UNSW, delivering to a specialist Military cohort at the Capabilities and Technology Management College (CTMC). Along with her financial expertise, Carly has commercial and business management skills, particularly in procurement in the ICT sector and has experience in business case development, business strategy and planning development, stakeholder engagement and organisational change management.
Seeking guidance from previous employers over her career lifetime, Carly values their mentorship and extends the same, generous mentorship to her own peers. Balancing work and family life fills her with pride and she never misses an opportunity to take her family on ambitious camping, climbing, beach and caving adventures… this is where memories are made! Tayla is a passionate animal lover who finds joy in spending her weekends indulging in video games and spending quality time with her beloved dog, Banjo. Her love for exploration has taken her to various corners of the globe, with Canada, Japan, and South Africa holding special places in her heart as her favourite destinations. She has experienced thrilling adventures like white water rafting in Africa and paragliding in Switzerland. Her biggest inspiration in life is her mother, whom Tayla aspires to emulate. She spent 10 years specialising in taxation for individuals and retirees, focusing on capital gains, investment properties, and shares. Kathy also has 15 years of experience running her own retail business, overseeing all accounting functions including BAS, payroll, debtors, creditors, and inventory. Her diverse background and comprehensive skill set make her an invaluable asset in delivering exceptional financial services.
Kathy, a vibrant member of the C2A Consulting team, embraces a lively lifestyle filled with work, family visits, and adventurous rock-climbing expeditions. Her guilty pleasure includes binge-watching reality TV shows, while her hidden talent lies in airbrushing. Kathy finds inspiration in her children, and her favorite way to celebrate a job well done is by enjoying a drink with loved ones. Ethan is a motivated and versatile Full Stack Developer with a strong foundation in software engineering. Studying a Bachelor of Software Engineering from the Australian National University, Ethan possesses a comprehensive understanding of the development process. His experience includes successfully implementing new APIs for web applications at IO Energy in Adelaide, and teaching university students engineering practices at the Australian National University. Ethan also demonstrated leadership skills by organising sprints, communicating project progress to clients, and providing guidance to team members. As the C2A IT Specialist, Ethan manages Microsoft SharePoint, develops and maintains the company’s website, and provides technical support to employees.
Ethan has a passion for animation. When he’s not working on university assignments, he enjoys watching movies, playing board games, and developing apps. He finds inspiration from YouTube tutorial creators. Ethan’s goal is to graduate with a Bachelor of Software Engineering and his motivation comes from working with a supportive and collaborative team. At C2A Consulting, he appreciates the opportunity to gain knowledge in systems engineering and the work-life balance provided by remote work.

Dave is an experienced professional engineer with specialist expertise in Systems engineering. He has a diverse range of experience of over a decade in the civil aviation, Defence and commercial engineering domains. Dave holds post graduate degrees in Engineering (Telecommunications) and Business (Engineering Management) and is a charted professional engineer (CPENG). He is also an INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP).
As a highly specialised systems engineer, Dave has worked both above and below the line across various phases of the capability/product development lifecycle, making him well-equipped to bring his professional capabilities and strong work ethic to the Australian Defence Force. His areas of interests are Tactical Data links, satellite communications and cyber security. Dave is multilingual and enjoys travelling overseas to experience different cultures and cuisines. In his spare time, he is either progressing his personal projects or catching up with family and friends.

Chantelle is a highly skilled and dedicated professional with over a decade of experience in Defence, Police and Defence Industry. Her expertise lies in providing effective project support, utilising a wide range of skills such as WHS technical expertise, security management, executive assistance, information management and project governance. Chantelle has exercised these skills in high-risk Defence explosive ordnance environments, providing command and executive support functions. With a keen eye for detail, Chantelle is committed to achieving project goals and delivering capabilities to the men and women of the ADF. She excels in building strong relationships and promoting collaboration among team members.
Chantelle spends her weekends with her children and Saint Berdoodle pup, Maze, and enjoys walks, baking, and playing the guitar. She’s conquered her fear of heights and loves to write poetry and song lyrics. Her guilty pleasure is binge-watching TV shows and eating snacks after her children are asleep. Chantelle’s professional accomplishment that she’s most proud of is being awarded the Environmental, Health and Safety Technical Excellence Award for Raytheon Australia in 2010.
